In his case it took a few years for him to lose most of his patrons, a very long process.
And it will likely be the same in his case. The YT stats have little do with the Patrons and that is not a stat he’s posting anytime soon if ever. He mentioned Patrons in response to the trolling he received a couple days ago about losing over 20 of them at the end of the month. It was his way to troll back and reassure his followers they are going to win this battle of attrition.
He’s always been dependent on the convention videos to strum up financial support. During the off months there were always leaks like pillowgate, bottlegate, Bethel refugees he helped break free and “documentaries” which required a lot of time, effort and money for travel costs, etc. and now all that is gone. Plus if he wants to write two books as he says he wants to, that’s more videos he’s not going to have time to make.
Now all he has are the summer convention videos and the random exJW who left him a voicemail who wants to be interviewed. Meanwhile Kim is traveling the UK as he often did and is meeting the “who’s who” of the community. A trip he couldn’t make anymore outside of a meeting a handful of remaining supporters.
His content suffered from March into May and the patrons leaving reflected that. Then the conventions happened. Now he’s headed into the autumn and winter months with little to talk about.
That’s the problem he has right now - relevance. Folks move on from being interested in JWs and will eventually drop as financial supporters due to this decreased level of interest. His lawsuit isn’t geared towards his antagonists, it’s more for the newbies who run across all this negative information about him. He wants to be able to point out that these people who made the critical videos were sued and convicted.
The lawsuit and the lack of any traction and success with it is also a problem that’s not going away. He’ll eventually be forced to spin some sort of narrative that they got away with it and it’s the court’s fault.

He’s deliberately muddling the issue by playing semantics (dating, seeing, engaging with) but evidently they all mean the same thing. He denies being a “sex tourist” because that’s not the only thing he went there for per his account.
Maybe it’s just me, but if a gambling addict says they are going to Las Vegas or Monte Carlo, it’s fairly obvious what they are there for. Going to a museum on the same trip doesn’t change the reason you were there.

The MTS video he made was described in TRA:

Now why would both him and his wife be stripped of their pioneer status? He claims it was because of the hours, but this came from Bethel. Not meeting the pioneer hours quota seems to be a local issue, not something Bethel would be involved in determining. Right after this he goes into being caught sexting. Something just doesn't add up here and it's possible he's purposely separating the sexting scandal with his issue with Geoffrey.
What if his issue of Geoffrey was related to the sexting? He's very careful to keep the two issues apart but it's curious that he dives right into the sexting in his book immediately after his conflict with Geoffrey was adjudicated by Bethel. He does mention Geoffrey accused him of being a "disrupting influence" and "deceitful" which suggests there was a lot more to it than him trying to correct another elder for overbearing behaviour as he claims it was. Losing the Theocratic Ministry School and having both him and his wife removed as pioneers just for bumping heads with Geoffrey sounds quite extreme.
And to have all this come down from Bethel?

Hess tried to broker a peace deal. I personally don’t think he should have spent his whole life in jail. He probably tried to do some good. The others obviously deserved their fate, or if anything, got off lightly, as in the case of Speer.
Hess was a bit insane and should have served some time for being Hitler's right hand in the early war years but life was a stretch given that he surrendered himself to the British and tried to broker an unauthorised peace deal. The Soviets insisted he serve his life term whilst the British, Americans and French wanted to release him to West Germany.
Like Evans, Speer was a liar and opportunist. He admitted to the crimes he had to confess to but made a lot of self-beneficial claims that were impossible to verify, such as him confessing to Hitler he had deliberately disobeyed his orders to destroy cities and assassination attempts he claimed to have attempted on him. He was disillusioned with Hitler but so were Himmler and Goering. I hate the image he cultivated of himself as the "good Nazi".
Speer confessed his full guilt to some of his crimes but often with the Evans-style implication that others did much worse. "yes I designed the concentration camp system and built up German armaments, but if you are going to hold me accountable, what about Dr Goebbels? Goering!? Himmler knew about & supported the Holocaust! Doenitz actually was appointed by Hitler as his successor! Not me! Hitler hated me in the end which means I can't be all that bad!"

Exactly. TRA is full of analogies like this. Online cybersexting isn't as bad as fornication, at least I didn't meet her in a car park! OK then, have at it whilst your wife sleeps alone in the next room. He treated his cybersexting issues as it were something minor like watching an erotica movie. I'm sure ALL of your cybersexting partners are of legal age, XXXdating must certainly ask for govt issued ID when creating an account.
He's gotten worse the more he's been enabled. He didn't bludgeon any baby seals, didn't murder or rape anyone. He didn't separate families, except his own by fleeing to Thailand and prompting his wife to ask for divorce, but hey, that's his private business and none of yours. Besides he was ready to fight for her, despite her faults. And if he wanted to totally whore around, he would have went to Bangkok not Pa Tong. So please remember that.
I can imagine what it must have been like for his parents raising him. "Yes I did take £20 from dad's wallet. But sissy does this all the time and took £5 the other week, yet you aren't holding her to the same standard as I am. And there was also a £10 note in there that I didn't take. In many ways, Mum was unknowingly preparing me for what was to come. After all, she told me the thought of dying did not scare her—she was only worried about what would happen to the three of us once she was gone. With this in mind, she would talk about her expectations for my future. Mum hoped I would one day meet someone special, being only too aware of the trouble I seemed to be having in this department. Mum also told me of her desire for me to go to MTS. MTS, or Ministerial Training School, was an eight-week training course for single Witness men. [59] I had already expressed some interest in enrolling once I was old enough. It struck me as a more intellectual and less monastic alternative to going to work at London Bethel, Watchtower’s headquarters in Britain. I could now see Mum was keen for me to attend the course. She even told me to film my graduation so that she could watch the tape with me some day in Paradise after her resurrection. This expectation of hers, and the conviction that inspired it, was embedded in my subconscious from that day forward. I could not let Mum down. Sure, MTS would be no walk in the park. It was an intense course, and not everyone who applied for it got accepted. But never mind that—if Mum wanted me to go that badly, I was going to go. I was not even sure whether Watchtower would allow the graduation to be filmed (it wouldn’t), but I would worry about the details later. For now, being with Mum while I still had her was all that mattered.
He then expressed these doubts regarding MTS School as a whole due to the fact that he desperately wanted a female companion, and one who would be willing to wait until he finished MTS
Though I was determined to get into MTS, it did present me with a dilemma. I was in my early 20s, still a virgin (obviously), and I yearned for companionship— especially now Mum’s steadying influence was absent from my life. I had been in a brief six-month relationship the year before Mum died, but this had gone nowhere. Now I wanted more than anything to find someone who could help ease my feelings of loneliness and despair. MTS, however, was only for single Witness males. [64] This meant that, not only did I need to choose a marriage partner from among only Witness girls (to avoid becoming “unevenly yoked” with an unbeliever), I also had to convince any such girl to wait until after I had graduated from MTS before officially starting a relationship.
He then goes on about chatting online with "girls" and kept using this term. It sounded like he was wavering more about going to MTS school because of his burgeoning relationships with "girls" online, stressing that he was mainly going because of his mum's wishes.
By this stage, internet chat rooms were in full swing and social networking was starting to take off. These offered some kind of solution to my unique predicament. I could interact with girls from all over the world from the privacy of my computer without commitment or physical contact, and ease some of my loneliness and sexual frustration with them. I got the thrill of chatting and flirting with normal girls without having to tie myself down to anything or hurt anyone’s feelings. This sort of behavior, even if it is going on in cyberspace, is still a huge no-no as far as the organization is concerned, as countless Watchtower articles and letters to elders will attest. However, in my mind it was clearly not as bad as committing actual fornication with someone, and it was allowing me to remain single into my mid-20s when I was finding it increasingly difficult to find a girlfriend among Witnesses— especially given the limitations placed on me by MTS, which I simply had to attend to honor my mother’s wishes. Hence, even though I knew what I was doing was technically wrong, it was easy to rationalize. Besides, if Watchtower could be so manifestly wrong over so many of its interpretations of Bible prophecy, what if it was also wrong about what young single people should or should not be doing in private on the internet?
Prior to getting accepted to MTS, he moves to Bramhall and gets a job as a secretary at a real estate office. The acceptance letter comes in and his boss declines his request for a 2 month leave. He quits his job and gets out of his lease by finding another tenant.
Only a few weeks after my housewarming party, a letter arrived from the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Britain, dated January 10, 2005. The first two lines read, “Dear Brother Evans: Your application for enrollment in the Ministerial Training School has been accepted.” I was beside myself with excitement. Everything was falling into place! Finally, my opportunity had arrived to go to MTS, thus fulfilling Mum’s wishes. But there was a catch. I had recently started a new job as a part?time secretary at a local real estate office. When I asked my boss for a two-month leave of absence to attend a Bible course, predictably she did not share my enthusiasm. My request was refused. I responded by handing in my notice. This, in turn, left me with another problem: I had just signed an agreement that tied me to paying full monthly rent on my apartment, including for the two months that I would be away at MTS and without work. Fortunately, there was a clause in the agreement that would free me if I could find someone else who would be willing to take over the rental—and I soon managed to find such a person. My landlady was thus good enough to release me from the agreement, leaving the rent payments as no longer my concern. And so, with no job and no place to live, I was finally free to pursue my pilgrimage to Ministerial Training School. There was little doubt in my mind that it would meet all my expectations and calm any lingering doubts about my beliefs.

Once the ceremony was formally over, my classmates and I assembled at the front of the auditorium and serenaded the audience with a rendition of the rousing Witness song “Life Without End—At Last!” to thunderous applause. It felt like the perfect finale to my MTS experience, and I even managed to catch it on camera —just in case.
